Hi Friends of Empower Taekwondo. We hope this message finds you well. We are thrilled to announce the return of the Carolina AAU Taekwondo Championship,  to be held at the New Bern Riverfront Convention Center, on September 16, 2023.

Our inaugural event, held in September 2022, was a great success with more than 150 athletes, spectators, coaches and support staff gathered to participate in this 1-day event. We have taken the feedback from last year’s event and are looking forward to having a larger event, with a better venue, more participants, and more competition events this year.

This is where you come in. Your business is a vital part of the culture and economy here in Eastern North Carolina, and we want to partner with you to not only raise the funds necessary to produce a next level event, but we also want to showcase your business to our athletes and their families.

Last year, competitors from 31 cities across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia traveled into New Bern to spend the weekend, not only competing but taking in just some of what New Bern has to offer. This year we want to use our event to showcase more of what makes New Bern so special, and a big part of that is you.

In our Sponsorship Package there are three (3) sponsorship tiers. By selecting one, you are not only supporting our dojang and this annual event, you are also investing in your business and a greater community. We believe martial arts teaches and reinforces the principles of respect, integrity, courage, perseverance, and self-control. Tenants that we want to cultivate in future generations of our great state.

You can say yes to being a sponsor of this year’s event by completing the Sponsorship Form, sending us a high-resolution logo image, and your check payable to Empower Taekwondo by August 18, 2023. Once we have received your information, we will reach out to your designated point of
contact to coordinate our plan to get your business recognized.
